My current research interests focus on effective visualizations
and interfaces. In my lab we develop tools and techniques for evaluating
and improving effectiveness and apply these to program visualization for
Computer Science education, Software Engineering Diagrams that convey
concurrency-related concepts, and user interfaces and visualizations for
Bioinformatics.
I
teach courses on Data Structures, Human-Computer Interaction, and
Performance Evaluation.
