Research Statement

I am part of Distributed Simulation Lab . I work in the area of Parallel and Ditributed Simulations. Currently I am trying to investigate the performance improvements through "piggybacking" where multiple smaller messages are grouped together integrated with interest managers. We provide an overview of the design and implementation, as well as performance results using a simplified communication topology similar to SASSY, a large scale distributed agent-based simulation system. SASSY is a hybrid simulator which provides an agent based API to a PDES kernel.
