Welcome

I am an associate professor in the Department of Computer Science of the University of Georgia (UGA). I am also the graduate coordinator of the UGA Institute for Artificial Intelligence, the director of the Evolutionary Computation & Machine Learning (ECML) lab, a member of the UGA Institute of Bioinformatics and the UGA Faculty of Engineering.


Research Interests
  • Artificial Intelligence Methods including Genetic Algorithms, Evolutionary Computation and Machine Learning.
  • Artificial Intelligence Applications including Engineering Design Optimization, Computational Biology and Bioinformatics.
