Lecturer of Computer Science

Toshiro Kubota has taught computer science and mathematics for over 20 years, offering more than 20 courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels. He has keen research interests in computer vision, medical image analysis, and neural networks.

In the classroom, he wants to bring a balance between theoretical foundations and real-world applications. At a time when the professional landscape is alarmingly uncertain, he believes students need a strong grasp of core principles and the technical agility to adapt. His goal is to help students develop these essential skills and mindset so that they can thrive in their careers.
