Dr. Angelos Keromytis is Professor, John H. Weitnauer Technology Transition Chair, and Georgia Research Alliance (GRA) Eminent Scholar at the Georgia Institute of Technology.



In this lecture, Professor Keromytis will discuss the current state of and challenges for cybersecurity research in the U.S., and the strategic role that university researchers can play in improving the security of critical cyber infrastructure. This lecture will not be highly technical, and will thus be open to a broad audience, including UGA students and faculty with diverse backgrounds.
