Dr. Prashant Doshi Awarded NSF Grant for AI Research

Dr. Prashant Doshi has recently been awarded a grant by the National Science Foundation (NSF) for his research project, in collaboration with an investigator from the University of Southern Mississippi, which focuses on AI.  The project investigates how autonomous agents learn to cooperate and compete in complex environments by applying concepts from statistical mechanics, control theory, and management science.

The School of Computing congratulates Dr. Ninghao Liu and his collaborators on a new NSF grant titled "Teacher-Involved Adaptive Learning with Explainable Generative AI".  This 3-year, $850k grant will incorporate Generative AI into various classrooms to develop and support personalized education through an adaptive learning system for students. The project will enable instructors to create high-quality, explainable assessments tailored to students' needs, offering a customized learning experience.
